HAY Lamps

HAY lamps embody a vision of contemporary Scandinavian design: precisely considered shapes, a carefully controlled colour palette and constant attention to functionality. Founded in Denmark in 2002, HAY has established an aesthetic that reconciles the utilitarian object with the decorative piece. This collection of 29 references covers every lighting need, from the desk lamp to the bedside lamp by way of the living room floor lamp. Among the models that have built HAY's reputation in the field of lighting, the Matin Table Lamp and the Turn On perfectly illustrate the brand's approach: simple silhouettes, beautifully executed materials and carefully considered light diffusion. HAY works regularly with outside designers while maintaining a strong formal consistency across its entire range. HAY lamps come in several sizes, colours and finishes, making it easy to find the right solution for any setting, be it a workspace, a bedroom or a living room. If you would like to complete your selection with other lighting styles, The Cool Republic's Lamps section offers complementary collections, including the HAY pendant lights that naturally extend the brand's visual identity to the ceiling.

HAY lamps sit just as comfortably in a minimalist interior as in a home with more assertive furniture. Their understated design means they can be paired with other pieces from the brand, such as the HAY dining tables, to create a visual harmony in the dining room or kitchen. For anyone looking to vary light sources and atmospheres, they can also be combined with designs from other labels, such as the &tradition lamps, which share the same formal rigour and quality of craftsmanship.
