Glass Lamps

Glass lamps combine living material and crafted light: each piece diffuses, filters or reveals the light source in a way no other material can match. The Cool Republic brings together 123 references designed for demanding interiors, from glassblowing craft studios to contemporary design houses.

Blown glass remains the benchmark technique for organic shapes and trapped air bubbles that make light shimmer. The Egée by Artemide, designed by Michele De Lucchi, is the finest example: hand-blown globe, diffused lighting without glare. Kartell explores transparent and colored glass through graphic silhouettes, true to its plastic DNA transposed into borosilicate glass. These two houses illustrate the diversity of our selection, which you can find in our curated pages Artemide Lamps and Kartell Lamps.

The designer glass lamp is aimed at decoration enthusiasts who refuse to choose between functionality and aesthetics. It suits the living room, bedroom and office, carried by a metal stand, a ceramic base or a textile cord. The vintage glass lamp, with its amber or smoked tones, fits as naturally in an industrial interior as in a Haussmann apartment.

Finishes cover a wide spectrum: clear, opal, amber, smoked, and mass-tinted blown glass. To refine your search by color, explore our selections Black Lamps and White Lamps.
