Le Klint is a lighting company founded in 1943, though the company's history dates back to the early 20th century, when a hand-pleated lampshade was folded to fit a paraffin lamp designed by both architect and master engineer PV Jensen-Klint. Since then, they have preserved the original concept while constantly seeking to evolve with modern times.
The designer trio Harrit, Sørensen and Samson drew clear inspiration from nature's own snowdrop flower and came up with this fantastic interpretation for a series of lamps.
It is an incredible demonstration of how craft traditions can be transformed into a modern design expression.
