Transparent fruit bowl Moon - Kartell

The Moon bowl in its "smoke" version is a large translucent bowl designed by Marco Bellini in 2010 for the Italian house Kartell. A reinterpretation of the superb Dune tray by the same brand, this fascinating bowl with its lunar reflections draws every eye and will be perfect as a fruit bowl or serving dish.

Crafted from PMMA (clear or dyed throughout), a plastic material that is easy to work with and stands up to the test of time, this bowl will look stunning placed at the centre of the dining table or as a decorative object on a solid wood sideboard. The Moon bowl in its crystal version is worked from the inside and creates the illusion of being crossed by shifting lines that capture the light.

With a diameter of 45 cm, the Moon bowl elegantly holds seasonal fruit, dried flowers and even decorative objects.
