Steady Table Large - Normann Copenhagen

Steady is a modern take on the classic nest of tables, crafted from powder-coated steel and aluminium. When designing Steady, designer Hans Hornemann drew inspiration from Romanesque architecture. The view through the arches of a Romanesque arcade is interpreted in the tables' arched legs and in the repetition of contours when the two tables come together. The lines of the table shift from sharp to soft in a formal twist that gives the minimal design a dynamic appearance. The recurring arches are counterbalanced by slender profiles in a robust construction that stands out as a central element of Steady's visual expression. A broad steel frame and oversized cylinders hold the table's elements in place, making it curvaceous, sturdy and stable. Designed by Hans Hornemann
