Round wall mirror in soft terracotta foam 60cm Mirage Halo - Fatboy

With the Mirage Halo, Fatboy revisits the most mundane object in the home: the wall mirror. The reflective disc is encircled by a wide ring of polyurethane foam, soft to the touch and perfectly smooth, which softens the silhouette and gives the frame an almost graphic presence. The warm, earthy rustic clay shade tempers the brilliance of the mirror and installs it naturally within a lived-in interior.

The round sixty-centimetre format suits equally well above a console table in the hallway as on the wall of a bathroom or bedroom. Its very slim depth allows it to sit flush with the wall, and its lightness simplifies both hanging and subsequent changes of mind. It can be positioned alone, as a vanishing point at the end of a corridor, or repeated in composition with other formats.

True to the spirit of the brand, the Mirage Halo plays on the contrast between the hardness of the reflection and the softness of the contour. A useful object, but designed to be looked at as much as to serve.
