Round stool in banana leaf and metal natural 48x48x45cm Gustih - Bazar Bizar

The Gustih Stool by Bazar Bizar celebrates the art of plant-based craftsmanship. Its woven banana leaf seat rests on a metal frame, which provides structure and stability. The contrast between the natural fibre and the black frame creates a simple object with a clean silhouette.

Its natural finish reveals the grain and nuances of the fibre, with the variations inherent to handmade work. The weave covers the seat with a regular pattern, pleasing to the eye as well as to the touch. Each piece thus retains its share of irregularity.

Its low, square proportions make it a stool that is easy to place. It accompanies a sofa at the end of a living room, serves as extra seating around a coffee table or finds its place in a bedroom as well as on a veranda. The light tone of the banana leaf complements wooden interiors, raw textiles and atmospheres tinged with nature.
