Pendant light in dark brown woven bamboo 70cm Desert Gourd - Bazar Bizar

The Desert Gourd pendant light by Bazar Bizar takes the rounded silhouette of a gourd, placed upside down above the table. Its generous volume, wide and slightly flattened, fills the space without weighing it down: the woven bamboo structure lets light filter through between its strands and projects a graphic pattern onto the surrounding walls.

The Dark Walnut finish gives the weave a deep, warm tone that highlights the relief of the fibres. The work is handcrafted, each piece bearing slight variations in the weave inherent to the natural material. The whole brings a sculptural presence whilst remaining light to the eye.

This medium-sized model is suited above a dining table, a kitchen island or in an entrance hall with good ceiling height. It pairs equally well with a pared-back interior, to which it adds texture, as with bohemian décor or one inspired by warm climates.
