The colour gradient on each lamp is achieved by dipping the glass into paint several times, thereby accentuating the spherical effect and playing with the light it diffuses. The new portable Dipping Light lamp runs on a battery, doing away with the need for a cable. It features a switch on the base and, like the other portable Marset lamps, it comes with a dimmer that allows you to set the light output to one of three intensities. Minor but important modifications have been made to make it fully mobile.
