The new portable Dipping Light lamp is battery powered, which means that you don't need a cable. It is equipped with a switch à la base and, like the other portable lamps Marset, it is equipped with a dimmer switch that allows you to adjust the light output to one of the three different intensities. Minor but important modifications have been made to make it fully mobile.
