The lamp Bull is a sculptural lamp, inspired by the characteristic use of animal images in Danish modernism from the 1940s to the 1960s. The lamp has opal glass lampshades, which give off a soft light and characteristic expression.
Bull consists of an unpolished black marble base, completed by a lamp arm in oxidized aluminum and covered with spun cognac leather. The upper parts of the lamp are also made of oxidized aluminum, creating a beautiful contrast between the textured metal surface and the smooth, translucent opal glass. The interaction between the many materials creates a refined expression, making the lamps Bull more than just a source of light.
