Élémentaire chair in cream white plastic - HAY

The Danish HAY design house invites us into its world of pure Scandinavian minimalism. With the help of an army of award-winning international designers, HAY introduces us to rooms that are sometimes sober, sometimes exuberant, always keeping one guiding line: that of elegance. A true producer of best-sellers and of pieces that have almost become icons, HAY has established itself as a sure value in the world of design.

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Breton design brothers based in Paris, have been working together since 1998. Ronan is a graduate of the École supérieure des Arts décoratifs in Paris and Erwan attended the École nationale supérieure des Arts in Cergy before setting up his own studio. Ensemble Together, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have transformed the design industry and offered new perspectives of materiality and purpose.

With the Elementary collection, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec set out to create a chair that was both aesthetically and physically balanced. A blend of years of work and experience, Élémentaire uses the latest technology to create a chair that is robust enough to be a durable yet delicate object. Precise proportions and a clear profile give the Elemental design chair a charm that makes it stand out. Designed for everyday life, Elemental meets basic needs in a balance between beauty and strength.
