With Edison the Ambiance, Fatboy takes the familiar silhouette of the table lamp and reduces it to the essentials: a flared lampshade, a short base, an instantly recognisable look. The soft peach shade softens the whole and gives the object a discreet presence, closer to a luminous ornament than to technical lighting.
The polycarbonate ensures the lightness of the lamp, which can be moved with one hand without particular care. Its height of around twenty centimetres is intended for low surfaces and small spaces: bedside table, entrance console, shelf, desk corner or end of table. It can be placed, moved from room to room, grouped with others as the mood takes.
Designed for indoor use, it provides supplementary light where general lighting lacks nuance. Its simple shape and soft colour work with bright interiors as well as with more contrasting atmospheres, and its modest size allows it to find its place where a more imposing light would be too dominant.
