Black oak dining table SK3 - &tradition

Discover the In Between collection: designed by Sami Kallio for &tradition, it will surprise you with its balance between past and present. Both man and machine play a part in Kallio's creations, and this is reflected in the fusion of modern manufacturing methods and traditional craft techniques. The In Between series of tables and chairs is therefore a nod to the past, with a contemporary design touch woven in.

This lacquered wood table echoes the iconic In Between chairs, which you can pair with this creation. Yet this table, purely Scandinavian in spirit, is also the fruit of meticulous, artisanal woodwork. As Kallio explains: "Wood turning is the result of my love of Scandinavian heritage and traditional woodcraft." The designer is particularly keen to use age-old manufacturing techniques, which lends the SK3 table all the more charm. The airy circular shape of the SK3 series reveals its designer's wish to encourage ever more interaction, arranging the chairs around it in a more intimate and convivial way. The majestic SK3 dining table will therefore find its place in your kitchen or dining room.
