The Olivia chandelier takes a classic silhouette and brings it right up to date. Five arms radiate from a central steel stem, each bearing a cylindrical lampshade in white linen. The frame remains slender, almost graphic, while the fabric softens the light and breaks up the severity of the metal.
Its warm light, diffused by the five sources, illuminates without ever dazzling. It suits a dining table, an entrance hall or a bedroom where you're looking for an enveloping glow rather than a sharp beam. The downward-facing lampshades direct the light where it is needed, onto faces and work surfaces.
The chain suspension allows the height to be adjusted to suit the volume of the room, from a standard ceiling to a stairwell. Designed for dry indoor spaces only, the Olivia chandelier works just as well in a contemporary interior as in a more traditional setting.
