Designed by Ariel Okin, the Gladwyne chandelier plays the card of understated elegance. Its steel structure extends three arms around a central stem, each topped with a natural linen lampshade. The contrast between the rigour of the metal and the textile material gives the whole piece a calm allure, close in spirit to reinvented country houses.
Its generous diameter and low body height allow it to cast a wide halo of light without overwhelming the room. The linen diffuses a soft, warm light that works just as well above a dining table as it does at the centre of an entrance hall or a bedroom.
The pendant light can be adjusted thanks to several rod lengths, making it possible to set the height according to the volume of the room and the ceiling height. A simple answer for interiors looking for a structuring light without any showiness.
