Palette - &tradition

Palette - &tradition is a beautifully considered range of tables, coffee tables and desks in which every piece combines function and design with a wonderfully relaxed spirit.

The name given to this range by Danish brand &tradition is undoubtedly a nod to the artist's palette, with its play of overlapping geometric tops interweaving with style and ergonomics to create a unique space for sharing or working, depending on the version chosen.

The original model of this table was designed by Spanish designer Jaime Hayon, a passionate creative who set up his own design studio in 2000 and who drew his inspiration from Alexander Calder's kinetic sculptures. Hayon describes himself as a prolific designer eager to explore new forms of expression, driven by a deep respect for craftsmanship, refined detailing and a passion for play in all its forms. This range is therefore entirely in keeping with its creator's aspirations, as the features of each model in the collection stand out from the crowd and express a singularity in both substance and form.

The Palette collection comes in a variety of sizes and heights, from the desk to the essential living room coffee table, available in several variations, whose dimensions have been ideally conceived to suit any type of living space without overwhelming it. Each table is a composition of three distinct shapes, perfectly balanced at different heights to form a single unified whole, resulting in a look full of elegance and character.

Choice colours and materials are very much part of the appeal, with black-stained ash, marble and polished brass dressing the lines.

The fusion of the airy shapes of the Palette tables makes each piece in the range an exceptional item of furniture that reveals itself as a work of art in its own right, impossible to overlook while remaining incredibly ergonomic and practical day to day.
