Sitting at an ordinary desk is simply not an option for Spanish designer Jaime Hayon. That is why he created the Palette desk, from the same collection as the coffee tables. At first glance, this desk is a lesson in geometry, where tops are layered at different levels, or even seem to float in mid-air, and where colours, shapes and materials are all unlike one another. Its name refers to an artist's paint palette, on which splashes of colour sit side by side. This desk combines two shapes: an elongated bean and a simple circle. The two merge into a wonderful blend of fine materials, available in two different combinations.
