Thorvald

Built in 1848, the museum stands beside Copenhagen's Christiansborg Palace and provides the setting for the work of neoclassical artist Bertel Thorvaldsen. Drawing on the art of antiquity, with references to ancient Greece, Egypt and Pompeii, the decorative ceilings, polychrome embellishments and mosaic floors offer a picturesque backdrop that contrasts with the neoclassical statues and Thorvaldsen's immaculate sculptural style.

An eight-piece collection comprising a side chair and an armchair, both stackable and available in two sizes, a side table, a coffee table with a square or rounded top and, finally, a larger dining table, the collection sets out to celebrate life in any outdoor setting. Described by Space Copenhagen as "an invitation to enjoy a break, a conversation, a drink or a meal in the open air", the collection is both highly functional and comfortable for sitting, resting and unwinding.
