Karup Design Sofa Beds

This selection of 29 models brings together everything the Danish brand does best in its Karup Design sofa beds: understated seating, built to last, that converts into a bed without compromising on style. Designed for interiors where every square metre counts, the collection combines functionality with Scandinavian aesthetics, its clean lines fitting just as easily into a city flat as a family home.

Founded in Denmark, Karup Design has built its reputation on solid pine frames and reliable conversion mechanisms, available in a wide palette of colours and sizes. Among the most sought-after silhouettes, the Roots model perfectly illustrates the brand's DNA: an exposed wooden frame, a generous seat and a built-in 140x200 cm sleeping surface. The collection available here covers a broad spectrum, from blue sofa beds to more neutral tones, taking in wooden sofa beds in raw natural timber. Proportions vary according to use, from compact formats ideal for a guest room to wider versions designed for a main living room. Every model comes with a removable, washable fabric cover, a practical detail that extends the life of the piece over time.

These sofa beds are aimed just as much at those looking for an occasional extra bed for guests as at those wanting to make the most of a permanent living space. They sit naturally in a compact living room, a student bedroom or a dual-purpose study.
