A stem and, above it or below it, as though performing a balancing act, a glass sphere projecting outwards in delicate equilibrium at the end of a tilted rod. Seemingly unstable, the opalescent orb looks as if it might slip away at any moment, like a graceful juggling routine in which sphere and rod hold their balance as if by magic. By Cypriot designer Michael Anastassiades.

"I came across a video online of a juggler. He was spinning a set of balls, moving them along his arms and right to his fingertips. And as I was captivated by the magic of his art, the balls suddenly appeared to me to be perfectly still. I wanted to capture that precise moment. That was my starting point." - Michael Anastassiades
