HAY Pendant Lights

This page brings together a selection of 22 HAY pendant lights drawn from the Danish brand's lighting range. HAY conceives its pendant lights as objects in their own right, able to give a space visual structure as much as to light it. Each model follows a rigorous logic of form, without superfluous ornament, in direct continuity with the contemporary Scandinavian aesthetic that characterises the whole HAY catalogue. The result is a coherent family of lighting, adaptable to very different interior settings, from the living room to the dining room.

Founded in 2002 by Rolf and Mette Hay, the Danish brand has built its reputation on close collaboration with independent designers, producing pieces that are both accessible and formally accomplished. Among the range's most admired designs, the HAY Pao Portable and the models in the Matin series perfectly illustrate this balance between simple geometry and quality of light diffusion. The pendant lights come in several diameters, heights and finishes, making it possible to create arrangements suited to rooms of varying proportions. To broaden your search beyond HAY, the Pendant Lights department offers models from other Nordic and European houses, including Hübsch Pendant Lights and Schneid Studio Pendant Lights, whose lines share a similar sensibility.

HAY pendant lights sit naturally above a dining table, whether hung singly or in a row along a track, yet they are equally at home in a living room or a well-proportioned hallway. They combine seamlessly with the brand's other pieces for the home, such as the HAY Dining Tables or the HAY Rugs, to build an interior in which every piece converses with the others. Choosing the right model depends above all on the size of the space and the available ceiling height.
