August

Guided by a vision born of boundless curiosity, Vincent Van Duysen always creates a complete atmosphere in which architecture, interior decoration and design objects blend imperceptibly into one another. It was the very same approach he took when transforming Antwerp's former military hospital into a hotel. For the terrace, he designed the eponymous August collection, a series of minimalist chairs and tables that effortlessly connect the site's past with a contemporary interpretation. They are made from aluminium and available with a black, sand or grey-green powder coating, making them equally suited to indoor and outdoor use. The extensive collection breathes the pure simplicity of the monastic life that inspired it.
