Care : Check the label sewn onto the rug to find out the recommended washing capacity for each rug. For this size, we recommend a minimum capacity of 9 kg. Do not use a washing machine fitted with a central spin cycle or agitator, as this could damage the rug. For best results, vacuum the rug thoroughly before washing. Wash separately at 30º, using a gentle cycle and a short programme (max. 30 mins). Use a neutral detergent. Ensure you use a low spin cycle if the rug has braids or fringes. Do not use bleach. Avoid using fabric softener. Do not leave the rug wet in the washing machine, as the colours may run. Tumble dry at a low temperature. Do not dry clean.

When unpacking your carpet, lay it flat and allow the pile to settle at room temperature for 2 to 3 days, then brush or vacuum it as usual to allow the pile to settle properly. We recommend vacuuming regularly using a low-power vacuum cleaner set to a high pile setting, to prevent dust and crumbs from becoming embedded in the fibre roots. Do not use robot vacuum cleaners, rotating attachments or beater bars, as these will damage the tufts. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, as this can cause discolouration. Cut any pulled or loose fibres with scissors to prevent further damage. Clean up stains and immediately blot up any spilled liquids using a clean, absorbent cloth. Avoid rubbing to prevent damage. Never store your rug in an airtight plastic bag – use our handy cotton storage bag instead. We recommend using the non-slip underlay to keep your rug in place.
