White floor lamp with silver base Multi-Lite - Gubi

Louis Weisdorf's contemporary and classic design philosophy is embodied in the Multi-Lite floor lamp. With its timeless elegance, distinctive style and unique multifunctionality, the Multi-Lite floor lamp brings life and character to any interior space.
The Multi-Lite lamp was designed in 1972 by Danish architect Louis Weisdorf to reflect his passion for diversity. Thanks to its unique design, the two opposing outer lampshades can be rotated individually and arranged into multiple combinations, encouraging personal installations and expressions whenever desired. Always in keeping with Weisdorf's design philosophy, the light can be directed upwards, downwards or emit an artistic asymmetrical glow without exposing the light source. Two cylindrical shapes form the base of the lamp, while a metal ring encircles it and anchors the two quarter-sphere lampshades, ultimately completing the image of an iconic design with multiple purposes.

The decorative Multi-Lite floor lamp is an evolution of the pendant light design and is perfect for creating festive ambient lighting in the home living room. "With the Multi-Lite floor lamp, nearly half a century later, I am fulfilling another of my original wishes, namely a mobile edition. This gives the lamp design even more possibilities for an exciting placement." - Louis Weisdorf
