The Clivedon wall light plays on the simplicity of a single gesture: an arm reaching out from the wall, and an off-white metal lampshade that places the light exactly where it is needed. The steel construction gives the whole piece a forthright stance, with no superfluous ornament.
The generous projection lifts the lampshade away from the wall and directs the beam downwards, making this wall light a useful addition above a worktop, along a corridor or on either side of a mirror. The contrast between the frame and the pale interior of the lampshade softens the diffused light.
Designed for indoor use, it takes an E27 base bulb and fits just as comfortably into a kitchen with a utilitarian character as into an entrance hall treated with restraint. A discreet piece, conceived to last and to be forgotten once it is switched on.
