Steel wall light in aged brass 13x60cm Barkley - Hudson Valley Lighting

The Barkley wall light plays on verticality. Its steel body rises in a narrow line, barely set away from the wall, and carries two aligned light sources. The silhouette remains slender, almost graphic, and works just as well on either side of a mirror as it does along a corridor.

The diffusers are cut from natural alabaster stone. The material is never identical from one piece to the next: the veining and shades let the light through in an irregular way, with a warmth that glass cannot provide. Once lit, the wall light casts a soft glow, mellowed by the thickness of the stone.

The aged brass finish brings a muted patina that suits classic interiors as readily as more contemporary compositions. Designed for indoor spaces, it finds its place in a bathroom, an entrance hall or a bedroom, as a single wall light or in a rhythmic series.
