The Nile wall light pairs a steel structure with a shade in woven natural fibres. The rattan filters the light and casts a latticed halo across the wall, softer than that of an opaque diffuser. The aged brass finish warms the whole and plays on the fibre's varying tones.
Its proportions remain compact: it sits above a headboard, on either side of a mirror or along a hallway without obstructing the way. The shallow projection of the body makes it easy to incorporate into a narrow room.
Designed for indoor use, it takes an E27 base bulb and lends itself equally well to a bedroom, an entrance hall or a living room. Its natural vocabulary suits bohemian interiors as much as more understated settings, where it brings a touch of texture.
