Specialized in high-end plastic products, the Italian company Kartell was founded in 1949 by the chemical engineer Giulio Castelli. Today, it is with great designers (Starck, Tokujin Yoshioka, Marco Zanuso…) that Kartell always exploits plus the potential of plastic, a material to which the brand has been able to give a very precious side to design.
This pretty storage box with a conical lid is made from PMMA (transparent or tinted in the mass), a plastic material that is easy to process and that will resist wear and tear. This material makes it very light and therefore easy to carry. Perfect for storing your small everyday objects, it will find its place in an entrance hall, a living room or encore a bedroom.
Its designer, Fabio Novembre, was inspired by the architecture of the houses of his native region, Puglia, and in particular by the town of Alberobello, to create this storage box. The Cool Republic offers it in four colours, their combination or repetition also making the charm of this collection.
