The Allida pendant light plays the horizontal card. Its steel structure unfolds into a wide circle that frames a matt opal glass diffuser, set at the centre like a sphere of captured light. The contrast between the slenderness of the metal and the roundness of the glass gives the whole a graphic silhouette, easy to read from afar, yet discreet once lit.
The light passes through the opal glass and diffuses without dazzling, making this pendant light comfortable above a dining table, a kitchen island or a hallway console. Its generous diameter calls for a little space around it: this is a piece that structures the room rather than blending into it.
Supplied with several suspension rods, it adjusts to a variety of ceiling heights, from standard volumes to the largest rooms. Designed for a single E27 bulb, it is intended for indoor use.
