The Rory ceiling light plays the horizontal card. Its steel structure stretches out over nearly eighty centimetres and sits flush against the ceiling, with a deliberately restrained height. This elongated format suits rooms where a classic pendant light would get in the way: hallways, entrances or bedrooms with low ceilings.
Three glass diffusers in a Matte Cloud finish soften the light and spread it along the entire length of the lighting. The effect remains diffuse, with no hot spots, allowing Rory to be used as general lighting or to complement an accent light.
The design, somewhere between a modern vocabulary and a Vogue look, relies simply on well-judged proportions and the contrast between metal and milky glass. It works just as well in a contemporary interior as in a more classic room in search of a discreet source of light.
