Le Klint is a lighting company founded in 1943, though the company's history dates back to the early 20th century, when a hand-pleated lampshade was folded to fit a paraffin lamp designed by both architect and master engineer PV Jensen-Klint. Ever since, they have preserved the original concept while constantly seeking to evolve with modern times.
The Lamella lighting collection is inspired by the delicate folds on the underside of mushroom caps, commonly known as gills. A contemporary design and, at the same time, a timeless classic.
The series is crafted using the PLICA technique, a traditional production method. Lamella is designed by the talented designer duo Takagi & Homstvedt.
