Le Klint is a lighting company founded in 1943, but the history of the company dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. When a hand-pleated shade was folded to fit a paraffin lamp designed by both architect and PV master engineer Jensen- Klint. Since then, they have retained the original concept, but are constantly looking to expand into modern times.
The lighting Lamella collection is inspired by the delicate folds on the underside of the mushroom caps commonly known as slats. A modern design and at the same time a timeless classic.
The series is made using the PLICA technique which is an old production technique. Lamella is designed by the talented duo of designers Takagi & Homstvedt.
