Fabio Novembre uses furniture design to tell stories. Intense, engaging stories in which the human figure is often the protagonist. A human figure able to become abstract and universal, able to offer a mythologised beauty much as Greek art once did. And so, in Nemo, a face with classical features is carved out to create a habitable space. A head-armchair, then, experienced from within and which, like a mask, both conceals and reveals its occupant.
