In 1955 Jean Pauchard was looking for his Table. "The foot, it's the foot that counts" he exclaims. He designed an initial rectangular foot model in white, then in 1960 refined it to its current elegant plus shape. The T55 table was born. Its tapered legs, made entirely of steel, give it an airy grace, while attesting to the durability of its construction. With this bi -material version, TOLIX plays on the contrast between form and material: its steel legs are replaced by conical wooden ones, while the rectangular top remains in steel. This mix of styles gives esprit a warm, contemporary feel. Available in different lengths - 140 cm, 200 cm and 240 cm - elle adapts to any space, asserting its presence with refined subtlety.
