Originally designed in 1959, the X table illustrates the pinnacle of Hvidt & Mølgaard's work as creative collaborators. Taken from the family archives, the table draws its design unique inspiration from the folding chairs of ancient Egypt. Based on the same principles as the X chair, for which elle was originally created to complement, the X table features the same sloping frame and judicious use of material at hand.
