With the Bella Chandelier SC115, Space Copenhagen revisits the classic chandelier by stripping it of all superfluous decorative effects. The aluminium structure draws a suspended silhouette with radiating arms, dressed in canvas lampshades that soften the light and give it a warm tonality. The Bronzed & Soft Canvas finish combines patinated metal with light fabric, a discreet contrast that allows the room's architecture to express itself.
The proportions remain generous without being imposing: a diameter of 54 centimetres and a height of 75 centimetres that allow the lighting to hold the centre of a dining table as well as an entrance hall with good ceiling height. The multiplication of sources diffused through the textile creates enveloping illumination, closer to a glow than a beam.
Published by &Tradition, the Bella is part of the work the Danish duo conducts on familiar objects brought up to date. It is intended for indoor use and finds its place both in a contemporary flat and in a more classic interior, where it plays the role of centrepiece without occupying all the visual space.
