Steel pendant light in aged brass 43x32cm Moore - Hudson Valley Lighting

The Moore pendant light plays on the contrast between a steel structure and an alabaster diffuser, a natural stone whose veining remains visible once the light is switched on. Each piece therefore has a pattern all of its own, never repeated from one example to the next.

The volume is wide and low, closing around an integrated LED source. The light it produces is warm and renders colours faithfully, making it equally suited to hanging above a table, at the centre of a living room or in an entrance hall. The suspension chain allows the height to be adjusted to suit the proportions of the room and the surface to be lit.

The design vocabulary remains understated, halfway between the essential and the modern. Intended for indoor spaces only, the Moore sits just as comfortably with natural materials as with more contemporary lines.
