Sami Kallio, the designer behind the In Between models, is an artist specialising in traditional woodcraft, and it shows. Drawing on his expertise, he chose to make his furniture using two techniques: compression moulding and wood turning. The result is a series of chairs and stools that are sturdy yet surprisingly light. The series bears an unmistakable Nordic imprint, giving these chairs a simple, timeless quality. Won over by the practicality and design of this model, The Cool Republic offers it in several colours and several formats.
