Our wooden furniture is available in two different types – natural wood veneers and solid wood – both equally beautiful and differing only slightly in terms of appearance and durability. Wood veneers are made from thin sheets of natural wood applied to a base of MDF, plywood or chipboard, giving the surface the appearance of solid wood. The final product is then coated with polyurethane for a durable, low-maintenance finish and to prevent spills from damaging the surface and the underlying design. Wood-veneer furniture uses less wood than its solid wood counterparts, making it a more affordable option. Furthermore, wood veneers are less prone to chipping and warping than solid wood.
