Form & Refine's Aymara textile line follows the traditions of Nordic design. It is made from the finest, purest alpaca wool sourced from the highlands of northern Bolivia and produced by highly skilled artisans in Bolivia. This combination gives rise to a simple yet elegant product line. Our alpaca textiles are made from 100% pure alpaca wool, with no other wools used. They are available only in the natural colours of the alpaca, with no dyeing process whatsoever. The textiles are made using the art of knitting, a craft that is harder to master than traditional weaving. The throw brings luxury and comfort to your home.

Designer: Herman Studio was founded in 2012 by two architects, Helle Herman Mortensen and Jonas Herman Pedersen. Their work spans textiles, ceramics, lighting and furniture design through to interior decoration. One hallmark of their design is the clear silhouette of the objects. Working with a clear silhouette for each object allows the design to stand out in a simple way and to be instantly recognisable. Their great passion for design goes beyond aesthetics and is above all about construction and the use of materials. They work through a precise process moving between sketches, models and prototypes. Their design process often begins by studying construction methods, which play a central role throughout the design process. Their workshop has therefore become a natural part of the studio!
