Every piece in the Gravêne range is unique. The production waste at A. Schulman, generated when the plastic powders are changed from one colour to another, is recovered and blended by Maximum to create exclusive shades. This ingenious process turns the 100 kg of material lost with each colour changeover into a precious resource, helping to reduce industrial waste.

The recovered plastic is poured in spaghetti-like strands into the mould of the seat, a technique that allows each model to be produced to order. This method makes every chair one of a kind, with a playful texture on the back of the shell that recalls its handcrafted, eco-friendly production.

The Gravêne chair is available with oak legs for indoor use or UV-treated metal legs for both indoor and outdoor use. This versatility allows it to blend harmoniously into any setting, whether an elegant living room or a stylish garden.

To make its barrels, NT Bois uses exceptional oak from the forests planted by Colbert. During edging, certain sections that are too thin to be used as staves end up as firewood. The base was designed to make use of these small offcuts and rescue these pieces of two-hundred-year-old oak.

Without armrests, the Gravêne chair offers clean lines and a minimalist design, while retaining the same level of comfort and durability. Each chair is hand-finished in Maximum's workshops, combining artisanal expertise with modern aesthetics.
