A table with a past
At regular intervals, Altrad-Plettac retires part of its scaffolding fleet. Worn out by long years of hire, it is no longer fit to perch a worker high in the sky, yet closer to the ground it retains all of its structural qualities.

Glass panes too strong to be kept
A glazed partition is cut to fit the space it divides. Toughened for safety reasons, it cannot be cut again. When they are taken down, these sheets of glass, although in perfect condition, end up at the waste disposal site. Victims of their fixed dimensions, they simply cannot be reused.

Only a project made to measure for them can spare them this shattered fate…

Endless Clavex tables, yet each one unique: epoxy paint is a powder that the brand sprays onto steel parts before they are baked at 200°C. During this spraying, some of the powder is drawn into the extraction system, blending together day after day in collection bins.

The resulting mixture is perfectly reusable. You just have to accept that every colour is unique and unpredictable.
The cork used to finish off the ends of the scaffolding tubes comes from ground-up wine corks. The glass top simply rests on it, and that is just enough to keep it from sliding.
