This concrete cube makes for a perfect side table thanks to its deliberately compact size, which allows it to slot into all sorts of spaces. Inside the cube sits a hand-blown glass bowl in the shape of a sphere, a surprising feature at first glance. On closer inspection, however, it becomes clear that designer Bertrand Jayr is inviting you to make this glass bowl your own and to let your imagination run free. This hybrid piece of furniture thus becomes far more than a simple side table. Terrarium? Vase? Sweet dish? Yes, that's a good start. You'll discover a thousand other uses once you've brought it into your daily life.

The pores, micro-cracks and variations in colour are due to the inherent and charming nature of the material.
