The Numbra TY3 is a portable lamp designed by Teruhiro Yanagihara for &Tradition. Its vertical, compact silhouette combines a lacquered oak shaft with an aluminium diffuser whose reflections are softened by a tumbled treatment. Stainless steel and acrylic complete this assembly of materials, each left legible in the form.
The light, warm and measured, diffuses without glare. It suits late hours, set tables, reading corners or passageways where one seeks a discreet luminous presence rather than general lighting.
Cordless and light, the lamp moves from one room to another according to use, from console to windowsill. It finds its place in a domestic interior as well as in a hospitality or restaurant project, where it can be multiplied without weighing down the composition.
