Coffee table in natural oak wood 82x82x40cm Skak - Hübsch

The Skak coffee table by Hübsch plays on simple geometry: a square top resting on a straightforward base, with no ornament or stylistic effect. The oak wood and its veneer give the whole a natural tone that patinates over time and suits both a light living room and a more layered interior.

Its compact proportions and low height place it naturally in front of a sofa, at the centre of a seating arrangement or as an accent piece near a window. The square format facilitates circulation around it and allows it to be positioned alone or as a pair, offset from one another, to cover a larger surface.

True to the Scandinavian spirit of the Danish house, Skak relies on material rather than decoration. The oak grain remains visible and becomes the sole motif of the piece, an approach that allows it to age without going out of style.
