Made up of two interlocking tubular metal sections, the Bold chair breathes new life into the tradition of the steel-tube chair. Plumped up with thick polyurethane foam, the line traced by Bold serves in turn as leg, seat and then backrest, lending it remarkable comfort. Drawn in a single stroke, in the manner of Osvaldo Cavandoli's La Linea and thickened like a typeface to which weight has been added, the Bold chair does away with the need for a separate seat and backrest. Covered in a removable, washable textile sleeve, the Bold chair changes colour in a matter of moments.
