Greige ceramic ceiling light 22cm Metra - Ferroluce

Structured, modular, imposing. Metra is a suspended architectural piece that translates urban verticality into a luminous object with a strong, distinctive character. Three geometric volumes are stacked in an ascending rhythm, evoking vertical cityscapes, the severity of fortified towers, and the monumental order of the Metropolis imagined by Fritz Lang. Its hidden complexity stems from bold craftsmanship: each ceramic element is individually moulded using intricate moulds that allow polychrome finishes in different shades. This modularity is aesthetic but also functional: each volume can become a pendant light in its own right, making bespoke lighting compositions possible. The ribbed surfaces and ceramic finishes heighten the play of shadows and reflections, while the light is directed precisely downwards, with sculptural rigour. Metra is far more than a lamp: it is an architectural lighting system, a modular construction that interacts with the space around it.
