Designed by Mark D. Sikes, the Sphere No.2 pendant light plays on spherical volume and an exposed structure. The brass traces an open geometry that lets both light and the gaze pass through, without ever weighing down the space it occupies.
Three light sources arranged inside the globe diffuse a warm, enveloping glow. The light is suspended from a chain, making it easy to adjust the height above a dining table, a kitchen island or within a stairwell. Its damp-room rating also allows it to be installed in a bathroom or beneath a sheltered porch.
The aged brass brings a matt depth that suits classic interiors just as well as more contemporary compositions. On its own above a console table, or lined up in a series along a hallway, the Sphere No.2 fully plays its role as an architectural piece.
