Black stool 45 cm Charles Ghost - Kartell

A proud member of the great Ghost family, the Charles Ghost stool and its 19th-century-worthy silhouette dress up any interior with a chic, offbeat touch. Standing 45 cm tall, this stool in a glossy black finish makes an ideal extra seat for furnishing a contemporary-style living room or a modern dining room.

Charles Ghost owes its timeless look to its rounded, slightly flared base and its comfortable round seat – a classic silhouette given a twist through the use of plastic with a glossy finish. Designed by Philippe Starck for the Italian manufacturer Kartell, this piece is made from a single block of premium-quality polycarbonate: a manufacturing method that gives it outstanding resistance (to bad weather, scratches and knocks) and means it can be used outdoors without any worries.

Versatile and stackable up to six units high, the Charles Ghost stool fits into every interior decorating style. It will blend just as easily into professional spaces (bars, restaurants, waiting rooms, etc.) as into private ones (dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.). Picture it in pairs on a flower-filled balcony, or on its own beside a lovely stainless steel table in a bright living room.

Charles Ghost adapts to every need and becomes, depending on the height you choose (46 cm, 65 cm or 75 cm), an extra seat in the shower room, an island stool in the kitchen or a counter seat in a bar. You'll find this model available in a range of sizes and colours at The Cool Republic.
